TaskFlow — how it works

Your tasks are saved to your account and sync across devices.

Adding & organizing

• Add a task: type in the “Add a task…” box and press Add.
• ⠿ Drag handle: drag a task up/down to reorder (desktop).
• ▾/▸ Collapse: show/hide a task’s sub-tasks. Collapse all / Expand all (top button) toggles every task at once.
• 📌 Sandbox pin: pins a task or sub-task to the Sandbox at the top — a parking lot for top-of-mind items. It’s the same item, so changes sync both ways (complete it in Sandbox → it completes below too). Tap 📌 again to unpin. (Sandbox is per-device.)

On each task row

• ☐ Checkbox: completes the task (moves it to Completed).
• 🚩 Flag: marks priority (red left edge). Flagging a sub-task also flags its task.
• 1. 2. 3. tasks are numbered by their order.
• @name chip: who’s responsible. 0/2: completed/total sub-tasks.
• 👥 a task you’ve shared; ↪ a task shared with you.
• × deletes the task (or, if it was shared with you, removes it from your list).

Task details (tap a task)

• Rename: edit the title at the top of the panel.
• Color: tint the task; Responsible: who’s on it; Due date.
• Notes: rich text — B/I/U, bullet & numbered lists, indent/outdent (or Tab / Shift+Tab), and text color.
• Sharing: add a collaborator by username — they can fully edit the task and its sub-tasks. Remove them with ×.
• Sub-tasks: add them at the bottom; tap a sub-task to give it its own notes, due date, flag, and responsible.

Finding & printing

• Search: matches task/sub-task text, notes, and responsible names. Due-date filter narrows by deadline.
• Completed: view/restore finished tasks. Print: a clean, low-ink sheet (colors become the box outline; honors what you’ve collapsed).

Account & app

• 🌙 light/dark theme. Lock: auto-lock after inactivity (re-enter password). Log out.
• Tap your username to change your password.
